In 1992 “Gazoapparat” technological institute of design and construction worked out the project to reconstruct the mechanical workshops of Krasnodar drilling administration and turn them into an economically autonomous structural subdivision of “Kubangazprom” DHW enterprise, which was transformed in Armavir gas equipment plant in October 1994, in accordance with the order of “Kubangazprom”. In 1997 on the basis of the plant ”Armavir gas equipment plant” Ltd. was set up, with the 100% share involvement of the affiliated OAO ”Gazprom” company – “Kubangazprom” Ltd.
For a short period of time after the decision-making to build the plant new manufacturing buildings were constructed and the equipment was put into operation. Thus, in the second quarter of 1994 mass production started. The gas-fired DHW boilers ÂÏÃ-23, mod.3208, manufactured in the plant, were one of the most reliable in Russia at that moment. After a while a highly innovative DHW boiler ÂÏÃ-8, mod. ÀÃ-401, without flue system /connection/ was launched in production at the beginning of 1996. Those models were called “Urup”.
Apart from that they set out to produce domestic wall-mounted gas-fired heaters with water connection and compulsory in conjunction with DHW cylinder. Single- and double mode heater models ÀÃ-402 and ÀÃ-403 started rolling off the plant production line under the brand of “Geyzer”/geyser/.
According to the decision made by OAO ”Gazprom” in 2007 OAO”Gazmash” became a 100% shareholder of “Armavir ZGA Ltd”. Since then there has begun a new life for the plant. It was supplemented with new technological equipment and there was a change in the range of products. In particular, outdated models of gas-fired DHW “Urup” boilers and “Geyzer” heaters were decided to be taken out of production. Involving the specialists of OAO ”Gazmash” and OAO ”Gazoapparat”, very soon there began mass production of several sophisticated and reliable models of DHW boilers under the popular brand of “Darina”. In the water heater design they began to use materials of high quality and the component parts and units manufactured in OAO ”Gazapparat” of St. Petersburg.
Thanks to the steps taken, since the moment when ”Armavir ZGA” Ltd. became a full member of OAO ”Gazmash” there has been a considerable increase in output, and expansion in the chain of dealers and service centres not only in Russia, but in the CIS countries as well.
Nowadays OOO “Armavir ZGA” Ltd. is focusing on gas-fired DHW boilers. DHW “Darina” boilers are manufactured on technologically innovative production lines supplied with precision equipment and in complete accord with Russian Standards. The majority of service centres and gas enterprises are highly experienced as far as the installation, service and repair of these models are concerned. The DHW boiler design is considerably upgraded and adjusted to work in our conditions. Low gas pressure and water pressure fluctuation in the pipe line, and a lot of other particular details are specified in the safety system of “Darina” DHW boilers, which quality is recognized by the Power Committees of Central Russian cities, where the programmes of replacing outdated domestic equipment are being carried out.
